OUR STORY WITH DAVID ATTENBOROUGH
Our Story with David Attenborough is a 50-minute immersive 360 degree experience currently showing at the Natural History Museum in London, running from June 2025 through January 2026. Created by Luke Halls Studio in collaboration with Open Planet Studios, the experience guides audiences through the history of life on Earth narrated by Sir David Attenborough, blending natural history footage with custom CG animation across walls and floor.
The scale of the project was unlike anything in a typical production pipeline. The content wraps entirely around the audience across a massive projection surface, meaning every element had to be designed and rendered with spatial awareness in mind rather than a standard screen format. Single-celled organisms multiply, ecosystems evolve, and audiences find themselves inside a rainforest or beneath the ocean, surrounded on all sides.
I was part of the design and animation team at Luke Halls Studio across a six-month production, contributing to multiple chapters of the experience through styleframing, design, animation and rendering.
